Vundo | Vundo Removal | Remove Vundo

With the Vundo trojan comes many other spyware programs and adware programs. One such product is Winfixer. This guy really gets under my skin. Winfixer is a fake Security product. It runs a fake scan on startup and then you see a pop-up saying you are infected with all kinds of things. This program tries to scare people into purchasing the product by saying things like unless you buy this your credit card information will be stolen or your identity is being stolen by someone right now and that you need to take imediate action to purchase their software to resolve your issue.

Do not fall prey to these false statements. If you are infected with Vundo then yes you have pop-ups but that’s about it. This software does not steal your identity or credit card information.

You do still need to fully remove this guy ASAP and run a full scn using your internet security suit software to make sure you have no others spyware programs installed. Most people who are infected with Vuno also have Virtumonde, Smitfraud or Zlob.

We recommend using Spyware Doctor with Anti-virus or the PCtools Internet Security Software to fully remove all traces. Yes this stuff does cost money but well worth the cost. Your current software did nothing to protect you and if you need something better then one of those two are the programs to go with. We use it on our own computers and out in the field to repair other peoples computers that are infected with Vundo.

I’m BROKE does that mean I’m Screwed?

Not at all. If you don’t have a dime to spare or just don’t really care about being protected and you want to remove all infections on your computer then you still have options. You don’t have to pay for the free programs we are about to mention but you do trade off in time and frustration. You should at least still download Spyware Doctor With Anti-Virus because it will protect your computer fully for 30 days and this will help us remove Vundo Winfixer from your computer because it will block it from re-installing as we start to remove the traces.
